Bright Eyes Academy was established in 2006, by Director and Founder Carrie Benjamin, and has been serving families of Delta ever since.
Carrie attended Capilano University where she studied Business Administration and then moved into the Early Childhood Education Program. Since graduating, she has worked with children of all ages, completed many field-related workshops and seminars, and built an extensive background working with adults and children with Autism Spectrum Disorder.

Lauren Creed is the General Manager of Bright Eyes Academy and has been part of the Bright Eyes family for 20 years.
She is the warm, welcoming face of the organization to the public in the Ladner & North Delta communities, and works alongside Carrie to keep every classroom, family, and educator connected to the heart of Bright Eyes.

Inspired by Reggio Emilia, Italy.
Her passion and focus is with emergent curriculum. She wanted to create a program in her community that reflected the schools of Reggio Emilia, Italy. Carrie has been on a mission since 2006 to bring the best that she has to offer to the children of Bright Eyes Academy.
Knowing she couldn't do it alone, she spent hours seeking out teachers who could see her vision through. All of the teaching staff at Bright Eyes Academy hold themselves to a higher standard and know they are shaping our future — a job they take seriously.
