Group Daycare (3-5 yrs)

Our Group Daycare Program is unique because it offers a daily preschool program from 9-11:30am where the children and teachers study a topic in depth. Following our Reggio Philosophy, all topics are chosen by the children. The teachers are there to support the children’s learning by providing as much information, as well as, many different tools and materials for the children to explore and learn from.

The children explore through many different mediums including: paint, paper, clay, light, wire, sand, and water, to name a few. Throughout the rest of the day there are many different activities that the children work on together or by themselves. These opportunities give the children a chance to learn teamwork, as well as, the value and great satisfaction of completing and experiencing something for “you”.

Along with the many fun and exciting activities the teachers provide the children, we foster a classroom of compassion, caring and problem solving. Often times the older children help the younger children by working through a problem or simply by helping them put a puzzle together. We believe that collaboration between two children helps solidify their knowledge and experiences.

The teachers work very hard to ensure that they create an ever changing environment that is healthy and plentiful in both knowledge and opportunities. We believe that the power of collaboration is vital to the growth of every person no matter what age they are!
