Trisha Holmes

I am a caring and kind person who loves working with children. I work in the infant and toddler program at Holly and my qualifications include my ECE certificate from Douglas College.

A little about me: I currently live in the sunshine hills area of North Delta and have lived in the lower mainland my whole life except for 2 years I spent in Three Hills, AB, going to school. I grew up mostly with my mom raising me and my younger brother. My friends would probably say that I am reliable and good to talk to. I love watching movies and going on walks/hikes.

Me and Childcare: Growing up going to daycare from the age of 5-11 i think i wanted to work with children in some aspect from a very young age. It wasn't till the end of high school on a work experience placement in a kindergarten class that I decided I wanted to work with young children. I love being with the children and watching them learn and grow. i think my favorite time of the day is right after nap when we get lots of hugs and cuddles and the kids are still kinda sleepy. I also love doing projects with the kids and hearing about all their different ideas and learning new things with them. I love how creative they are and how they are usually want to make something amazing out of whatever we give them.

In conclusion: I really enjoy the work I do spending time with such amazing little people. I love the creativity and fun we have in the infant and toddler program every day.
